Join Us for an Enriching Two-Day Event! CE’s Available!
Our 2-day hybrid event aims to celebrate the Latinx community, foster connections, and promote unity across our diverse backgrounds and disciplines. We will focus on 3 key areas:
- Exploring the Latinx presence in mental health, discussing strengths and needs, and building supportive interdisciplinary systems.
- Showcasing community resources and peer support opportunities.
- Addressing cultural and sociopolitical aspects, with a focus on sustaining and amplifying our presence for diverse communities.
DAY 1: IN-PERSON KICKOFF CELEBRATION

- Insightful Keynote offering 1 CE for Psychologists, Counselors, and Social Workers (APA approved & Approved for NJ & NY Social Workers)
- Poster Presentations: A platform for showcasing research findings, new ideas, and advances in the field, especially for students developing research interests.

- Utilizing Centering Racial and Ethnic Identity in LatinxIdentity Framework in Clinical Practice
- Mixed Citizenship Families: Symptoms and Experiences Reported During Immigration-Related Forensic Evaluations of Extreme Hardship
CONTINUING EDUCATION (CE) AVAILABILITY DAY 2:
- 6.5 Social Cultural Competency CE's for NJ & NY Social Workers
- 4.5 APA Approved CEs
